A small corner of charm in Dijon, with truly special hospitality! A stay simply wonderful, one you remember with a smile even after returning home. L’Étape de Marc d’Or is a truly enchanting, intimate, welcoming place full of charm. A typical French house, with a warm and authentic atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. What made everything even more special was undoubtedly the extraordinary kindness of the owner! A truly delightful, caring, and available person. Imagine that during our stay he was actually in Spain, yet despite the distance, he managed to organize everything in the finest detail, ensuring we had absolutely nothing missing. An attention and professionalism that is far from ordinary! The staff were fantastic: very kind, friendly, and always smiling, making you feel more like a family member than a simple tourist. Breakfast? Delicious! A real treat to start the day in a quiet and pleasant environment. And then there’s him… Juve, the wonderful house cat! Another small protagonist of our stay! His name is a tribute to Juventus! Too bad we are Inter fans! But for once we turned a blind eye to the football rivalry… impossible not to fall in love with such a cat! Beyond the beauty of the property, what won us over was the atmosphere: that sense of familiarity, the little attentions, the care of details, and the feeling of being welcomed with heart. There are beautiful places you forget after a few weeks and then there are places like this that stay inside you mainly because of the people who make them special. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the owner and all his staff for making our stay in Dijon so pleasant and unforgettable! Absolutely nothing, and in fact the fact that he could have called himself INTER instead of Juve… hahaha.
