The Salisbury Arms Hotel, located in the heart of Hertford, is the town's oldest hotel, offering individually decorated bedrooms with period features, free Wi-Fi, and flat-screen TVs. The hotel features a traditional pub restaurant with oak beams, serving British cuisine, and two bars offering real ales and cooked breakfasts. It's a 5-minute walk from Hertford East Railway Station and a 15-minute drive from the A1 Motorway.

The location, comfortable bed, stylish decor, powerful shower, and soft towels were positives, but the lukewarm breakfast was poor value and was served at the wrong table, so we had to tell staff it was ours.

The location is perfect for the music festival, right in the middle of everything, with a good car park. The staff are helpful and friendly, and this was our third stay.
