“Très bien mais pas parfait”
The architecture of the hotel is truly stunning, as is the view; the rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and tastefully furnished, and the infinity pool is lovely. The staff are absolutely perfect, warm, and helpful. However, there is an ongoing construction project for villas on the hotel grounds, and we were in rooms far away, yet the noise from the construction is very disturbing when trying to enjoy the pool. The noise continues after 8 pm, so when dining at the restaurant you hear hammers and drills. We understand Lombok is a majority Muslim island and see no issue with people swimming in one‑piece, two‑piece, or burkini swimsuits. Still, allowing guests to swim wearing an abaya, even with socks, is problematic from a hygiene standpoint. Breakfast is acceptable but does not justify the steep price of 200000 Rp, while the restaurant dishes are much more reasonably priced and tasty.
