I’ve visited many spots across Sri Lanka, but this place really impressed me with its stunning views and tranquil vibe. Everything was spotless, and the food was absolutely delicious. The chef cooked each dish with great care, bursting with flavor. The pool felt like swimming in the sky—such a beautiful and fun experience! The owner was friendly and welcoming. The hotel is new, the rooms are comfortable, and all necessary facilities are available. It’s perfect for a short holiday or a longer stay. The location is excellent, the service is friendly, and the overall experience was wonderful. Highly recommended! One of the best hotels I’ve ever seen in Matale!

I have no good words for this hotel. When we entered our room, the bathroom floor was already shiny from our hand‑washing. They did fix it somewhat, but the drain kept leaking. The bathroom was dirty, with grime on the floor. The toilet seat, tap, and shower control panel were loose. We barely had hot water, not enough time to shower properly, so the second person had no hot water at all. The sheets had stains and the pillow was downright filthy. The hotel sits high in the mountains, with no nearby eateries, so you end up eating in the hotel. The food prices are shockingly high, and drinks are absurdly expensive—one beer cost about 14 euros. The place shouldn’t even call itself a restaurant; it has white plastic tables, TL lighting, and a sports canteen looks better. When we complained about the room’s cleanliness at checkout, the owner seemed to hear us but did nothing. Avoid this hotel—it’s truly awful!

The surrounding view was spectacular, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Bhaghya, in particular, provided exceptional service to guests. Food quality was great and prices reasonable, so overall it’s good value for money. The only drawback is the limited parking spaces.
