They told me the room cost $180, yet I was charged $260; there was no regular coffee in the room, only decaf, and no cups available in the dining area; the place stayed noisy until after 10:30 pm.

The recent remodel made the rooms look neat, the beds were very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming; the small room offered plenty of spots to place our belongings, and the neighborhood felt safe, so we’ll return; however, the room with two queen beds was cramped, I had to move the chair at the desk to let my husband pass, the walls were so thin we could hear the next room, so bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper, and the lighting inside was poor.

The hotel itself was spotless and cozy, but the only drawback was the lack of nearby shops or other conveniences within walking distance.

“Quiet couple getaway.”

Breakfast food wasn’t very hot, fruit was available but bananas were missing, though I liked the pancakes; the room had a musty odor.
