The breakfast was good, the hotel was very tidy, the staff friendly, parking easy, and it was close to a few restaurants and the highway—perfect for a layover. There was really nothing to complain about.

The room was spacious with a nice view over the garden and car park, and it was very quiet once the windows were shut. The hotel offered a fitness centre and sauna, though we didn’t get a chance to use them, which would be a nice option if you have time. The air‑conditioning made it possible to keep the windows closed. The breakfast buffet was really good. The self‑check‑in was a bit confusing; we didn’t know where to go and a small map or picture would have helped, but it’s still cool that the option existed.

The place was very clean, the beds comfortable and the bathroom modern. Breakfast had many details and the service was friendly. Parking was directly behind the hotel and check‑in was hassle‑free. There is a sauna that we would have liked to use, but it wasn’t available on the holiday because staff left after the afternoon; a sign indicated that it could be used on holidays by arrangement. The organisation was poor. Additionally, the linen smelled overwhelmingly like detergent, which was unpleasant.

Akzent Hotel Bavaria feels just like home. The staff are unexpectedly caring and friendly, very loving and respectful throughout the entire hotel, always raising the bar. I’ve stayed here for the past ten years and each time there’s something new and excellent. Only a fool would complain about Akzent Bavaria; there’s nothing to dislike.
