Canal Hideaway

“It was filthy. There was garbage everywhere on the streets in front. There were tranny flags everywhere. There was rainb”

Nothing. Everything

“View did not disappoint. Exceptional host”

Location was perfect for us. The view from our window was the reason we booked and it did not disappoint. It is a short walk 10-15 minutes to Amsterdam Central Station and a grocery store. Great cafe near by for breakfast. The apartment was small but adequate for our 3 night stay.We were very aware of the size when we booked. David is a standout host. His communication was the best we have ever experienced. He met us on site after our very delayed arrival. The front stairs are very steep. This is just something for those with marginal mobility to realise. It was not an issue for us

“It was a great to experience living in one of the canal houses.”

The room was comfortable and in one of the canal houses. The location was close to all the sites I was interested in. David who managed the property was very quick to sort out any issues that I had. He turned up straight away, rain or shine. Thank you for all the tips too. The toilet and open shower was tiny and the floor was often wet
