“Bom hotel”
The place is in a fantastic spot, but the price feels a bit steep for what you get. Still, the location makes it worth a visit.
Close to the trail, a shop just a minute away for essentials, breakfast was decent, staff were friendly. The room didn't match the photos but still okay.
“Disappointing stay in El Chalten. Wonderful staff but overall poor quality hotel”
Staff were polite and did their best, great location near trails and restaurants. But the property was poorly maintained: leaking toilet, loose faucet, broken blinds, few pillows, low-quality towels, not enough outlets, and basic breakfast for the price. The owner doesn't seem to invest in upkeep.

Hotel Poincenot is a charming mountain spot, perfect base for exploring. The room and bed were super comfy after long hikes. On our honeymoon, they surprised us with a bottle of red wine—thoughtful. Loved it, just wish we could stay longer.
