The place works well with public transport and offers good value for money, especially with the spacious rooms. However, the building entrance and stairwell feel quite off‑putting. Arriving after 9 pm, I struggled to access the apartment and could only get automated AI responses—no human help. The entry instructions are outdated: the street door simply pushes open, and the apartment key code is integrated into the handle, revealing itself only when you wave over it. It took me a long time to figure that out, and I seriously feared I had been scammed. The hallway and stairwell lights flicker on and off quickly, which made it frightening to try to get into the apartment.

I had to cancel my trip to Vienna, even though I originally planned to stay there for three nights. After a nine‑hour drive, the room was dirty, disorganized, and, despite a no‑smoking sign, it smelled extremely of smoke. I tried calling support several times, but no one helped. I went to the bathroom to take a shower before addressing the issue, but the light in the bathroom wouldn’t turn on. Fortunately, I stayed with a friend for a night, then decided to return home the next day because I still hadn’t received any assistance. I can’t comment on the refund process yet. My tip: Don’t stay there! Any hostel bed would have been better.

There were a few unsettling aspects: I could hear other guests in the opposite room, the doors felt insecure—almost break‑in‑ready—and it was excessively loud. Otherwise, the place was clean, not dirty, though the general building was very filthy and smelled strongly of urine. The positives were cleanliness, staff, and the supplies for the apartment.

The spot has potential but is wasted. The room is quite spacious, the apartment is generally well‑maintained, and the location is convenient for moving around. What annoyed me most was that the chat was only with a bot; I needed urgent help and had to figure things out myself. The instructions arrive, but the most important part—the final door of the house—lacks even a minimal reference to identify it. Overall, the building feels unsettling, like a horror film. The room’s power outlets are poorly arranged, there’s a useless fake plant where a towel rack could have been, and someone was smoking in the bathroom on a gas stove in the morning; a functioning fan would have helped. Even with the window closed, street noise enters heavily.
