We stayed two nights at this wonderful B&B, received a warm welcome, ate breakfast on the terrace with an amazing view and sunshine in our eyes, and the owner even brought us some of her own grapes as a small extra touch. It’s a few minutes’ walk from everything you can see in Matera, and you can leave your car in a dedicated spot without worry.

The rooms are very spacious and charmingly decorated, and the shared garden feels like a secret oasis, which is fantastic. In our room, we could hear cars passing on the other side of the wall at night, so light sleepers might want ear plugs; otherwise, nothing else to add.

We loved staying in this beautiful room with the cool and gorgeous garden/courtyard. Martano is definitely worth a visit and we would recommend this accommodation. It is very special and the host was easy to communicate with. Nothing!

The host was incredibly kind. The room was gorgeous, very spacious and clean. The inner garden is super romantic and well maintained. The town is small but lively and cozy in the evenings.
