Breakfast was generous, offering plenty of the full Irish. Because I’m coeliac, they prepared a special gluten‑free version, which I highly recommend. My overnight stay and a friend’s comments about the friendly staff confirmed everything was fine.

The bed was very comfortable, the room spotless, and the staff exceptional. Food was very good. At night, the bar, road traffic, and neighboring rooms made it extremely noisy. The quilt was too small for the bed, there was no proper makeup or hair facility, and having to walk about 300 m for breakfast felt oddly inconvenient.

The staff were amazing, the place fantastic, and everything was really clean. Breakfast was tasty, the pub food was lovely, and the staff were friendly.

I was greeted warmly and settled into a nice room with a comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities. The bar downstairs was a fun spot to grab a drink, and I ended up having a great evening chatting with locals there. Breakfast was just a few minutes' walk to Town Café in the center of Athy, and it was also excellent.
