I had no preconceptions, so I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious, clean design, the handy fridge and cutlery, the big bed that blocks out outside light, the easy access, and the soft‑flushing toilet that was good value. The bed was a bit too firm for me, though not for my wife, and I liked having a night light but didn't get one.

The room was super comfy, made for a good night's sleep. The only hiccup was the shower over the bath – we’re older folks, so we had to watch our step to avoid slipping. Still, the mattress and pillows were top‑notch.
