“A magical, private jungle escape that made our honeymoon in Siquijor truly unforgettable.”
My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Jungle Kingdomes in Siquijor, and it became one of the highlights of our trip to the Philippines. From the moment we arrived, the space surpassed every expectation. The dome felt like our own private paradise in the jungle – beautifully designed, very comfortable, and we truly enjoyed simply being there. The indoor and outdoor areas were stunning, adding to the special feel. The staff were exceptional: warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful with anything we needed. Mitzi, who coordinates the hotel, was especially amazing; she was always available to answer questions, give advice, and make our stay super comfortable. When we arrived, she had even decorated our dome for our honeymoon, a beautiful and thoughtful touch. The property also has a cozy restaurant and hangout area with comfortable seating, great Wi‑Fi, tasty food and drinks – the perfect spot to relax while waiting for our room to be ready. We also attended one of their movie nights, which was a fun and memorable experience. Motorbikes can be rented directly from the property at an affordable price, and they are definitely useful for getting to San Juan and exploring the island. We loved the recommendations in the room; we tried several and each one was spot on. This was easily the best hotel we stayed at during our time in the Philippines. I would return immediately. Truly a magical, unforgettable stay. Our stay was perfect, but a few small things to note: the bathroom and shower area are outdoors, which we personally loved because they’re beautifully designed and you feel right in nature. This comes with the natural realities of being in the jungle, so you might see some insects, which may not suit everyone. Also, the motorbikes and helmets were a bit less new than those at other hotels. Our bike was a little finicky and would occasionally stall when driving very slowly. It wasn’t a big deal, but it did take a bit of getting used to.
