The room was very roomy, the bed enormous and comfortable, and the bathroom was also very convenient; it was cleaned to a high standard and the staff were friendly. I could store my luggage for free, and there were complimentary drinks and an evening buffet from 21.30 to 23.00 at no extra cost. Breakfast was decent, though the daily selection was the same and leaned toward Chinese cuisine. The free laundry service was well organized, with a iron and steamer available. The bus stop right under the hotel gave direct access to the station. Unfortunately, we weren’t told the hotel was under major renovation when we arrived – the work starts at 9 a.m. every day and is very loud, making it impossible to sleep. The rooms aren’t well insulated, so you hear other guests and the noisy air‑conditioner. The hotel doesn’t look like the pictures – half the building shown is unlit and hosts an old restaurant. The interior isn’t as nice as the photos, with some furniture and carpets looking worn. Getting to the metro takes about 18 minutes and involves stairs and an underground passage, which isn’t the most pleasant route, especially if you’re traveling alone.
