Located in the heart of Jerusalem, the YMCA Three Arches Hotel boasts a prime location opposite the King David Hotel, within a 10-minute walk of the Old City. This historic 1933 building features beautiful public areas with arches and lush gardens, a restaurant serving non-kosher meals, and a summer terrace. Rooms are non-smoking, with cable TV, air conditioning, and free internet access.

I chose this place because it wasn't the usual Israeli hotel vibe, and I liked that at first, but this time it just didn't feel great. There was no breakfast, and having been there three years ago, I notice the quality has dropped. The staff were okay but not impressive, and the room only had coffee, no tea.

Unfortunately breakfast wasn’t included, which was the only flaw; otherwise everything was very good.

The place was welcoming and friendly, and we felt like VIPs thanks to Francis at the front desk who was attentive and built a real rapport with us. The YMCA’s trusted driver, Jiries Asmar, also took excellent care of us, making the trip worthwhile. No issues to report—we’ll be back.
