I stayed at Ponnystugan, a small wooden cottage with two beds, a fridge, a microwave, and a kettle (don’t forget your instant coffee, like me) just a few meters from a horse stall because it’s a horse farm. Cozy, quiet, and rural with a stone‑throw away from Sörfjärden lake. The place sent clear and useful information in an SMS before my stay, and the toilet and bathroom were good, just a few meters from the cottage. The door had to be pushed hard to lock from the outside and even from the inside, and the windows lacked proper blackout curtains or blinds, even the small window in the door.

The surroundings are beautiful and the place itself is great.

The surroundings are charming, but many parts of the buildings and the garden have deteriorated over time. The garden needs attention and upkeep, and parts of the buildings would benefit from renovation; with proper care, this could become a truly lovely site.

A simple but functional small cabin, perfect for an overnight stay, and it had everything I needed. I missed a window blind or some way to darken the windows.
