The location was in the countryside, close to Ostuni, and the host who handled breakfast was warm and welcoming. The room lacked light; it faced north and only had one east‑facing window in the bathroom. If I were to return, I would ask for a south‑facing room.

The trullo lodging was typical, right in the middle of the olive groves yet secluded, so a car was essential; the setting was relaxing, the staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was varied, offering both sweet and savory options (homemade cakes), some fruit and yogurt too, with biscuits as the bread substitute. We recommend this stay as worth a visit; thanks to the icon’s staff!
