Excellent location, but the Wi‑Fi was spotty inside the hotel and didn’t work, which was a problem.

The place was fine overall, the food was good, and the people were friendly. However, several issues ruined our experience: there were many mosquitoes, making it hard to enjoy the outdoor areas; at the beach, guests with a large dog barked at us, so we had to move to another beach; the restaurant food was pricey and gratuity was automatically added to the bill; we were disappointed that fishing wasn’t available as advertised; and a broken bridge detracted from the beach’s appearance and made the area less enjoyable. All of these problems impacted what could have been a much better stay.

Nakia at the front desk was super helpful and the room view was fabulous. I enjoyed the water activities, but breakfast cost a little over 100 dollars for two with tax and tip, and the construction on the dock was loud.

The place is absolutely beautiful, especially the trail that leads to the beach behind it, offering plenty of photo opportunities. It can get a little noisy, though.
