The hotel is a good spot for the old quarter because it stays relatively quiet. In the early morning, the street is lively with local businesses. The room is spacious and the beds are comfortable. Hot water is available for those who like it. The building needs some renovation; it isn’t dirty but looks dated because some parts are simply too old. There are gaps in the floor, and the stairs are steep, which can make it hard to carry heavy luggage upstairs. It’s not bad, but I’ve seen better places for a better price in Hanoi.

The room temperature was fine, the bedsheets were clean, and the balcony was nice and super central. The door has a window in it, and just outside there’s a motion‑detection light that flickers on and off all night—how am I supposed to sleep?
