“Excellent family run B&B”

The view overlooking the lock was outstanding, and we appreciated the balcony that faced the same view. Monica was an excellent host and the Scottish breakfast was phenomenal. The B&B ran with clear passion and professionalism, and we would definitely return. There was nothing to dislike.

“Excellent bed and breakfast, highly recommended!”

The room was lovely, spacious, and impeccably clean with all the essentials, and the large, comfortable bed was a highlight. The en‑suite shower worked well, the hosts were friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was excellent, and the view from the front of the hotel was fabulous. The extractor fan in the bathroom kept flapping in the wind and woke us up a few times, and the narrow concrete steps from the car park are hard to navigate for those with limited mobility.

“Gorgeous view, superb bed, lovely hosts”

The room was beautifully appointed and offered a terrific view. It was easy to find even after dark, and there were great nearby restaurants. Monica and Gavin were very friendly hosts who answered questions and created a comfortable, relaxing environment. The bed was superb, and everything about our stay was great. Nothing to note.

“Lovely stay in the highlands”

The room was beautiful in a lovely house with really nice views and a superb breakfast. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The bathroom was spotless, the shower was great, and the toiletries were lovely.

The welcome was warm, the room was spacious, nicely decorated, and had a beautiful sea view. It was also nice to be able to have tea in the room. The bedding was incredible; we slept like kings! The homemade breakfast offered a wide range of products, and everything was excellent.
