I loved the newly renovated resort‑style hotel with plenty of cool spots to explore and unwind on site, especially the speakeasy and the welcoming outdoor areas, but I found the lack of elevators and the difficulty of pushing the luggage cart into my room a bit frustrating.

The facility was very nice, I enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor fire pits, and it was a great place to relax for a couple of days.

The outdoor space, some staff, and the location were positives, yet communication about amenities, room cleanliness, and the need for staff education or training on consumer experience were lacking.

The hot tub was large and the remodeling of the old property was well done, but many drinks and liquors on the menu were out of stock; the service was great and they tried to make up for it, and it was also very hard to get an Uber from there, so make sure you have the Bardstown taxi number.
