The location was great, the rooms were clean and lovely, and the food was good, though I would have liked a few more items on the breakfast; I was willing to pay for them but was told they wouldn’t, such as tomatoes instead of beans. Nothing else.

The room was a decent size and the bar/restaurant was convenient, but it was dusty with cobwebs in the bathroom; a blind on the bedroom window would have helped since the opposite property could be seen and closing the curtains made the room pitch black.

Everything you could possibly need was there, the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, and the little bar below offered tasty food and drinks.

The location was great, the staff were very friendly, the food was lovely and plentiful, and the room drinks were brilliant, making for an enjoyable stay, although the heating got too hot at times; nobody told us about the Wi‑Fi and the top‑floor rooms required many steps when the heating was on.

The location was excellent with local shops, the sea front and promenade close by, and the Marine Bar was very dog‑friendly; the food was lovely and the menu choices were good. The room was a good size and the in‑room facilities were brilliant, so I would recommend it. We stayed on the 2nd floor, and the stairs were a bit steep, so it wouldn’t suit anyone with mobility issues, but we would definitely return.
