The bed was good, the facilities were good, parking was good, it was close to the city center, there was a restaurant in the building, and you could drive straight into the room from the car.

The hotel was great, and the young lady at the desk was very polite and helpful; the restaurant next door was really good. The bathroom was a problem – the toilet was too low, making it hard for older people to use, and the shower door was difficult to open and close.

Everything was excellent: the staff were very polite, check‑in was easy, the room was renovated, bright, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean with a lovely, exceptionally clean bathroom. I appreciated the extra amenities, including water and tea, and being able to park right outside my room was very convenient. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at during my trip across Canada – thank you for a wonderful stay! The coffee machine was a little awkward to use, but that was only a minor inconvenience; everything else was excellent.

“It can be an acceptable place to stay but I had an unusual problem.”

The room was clean and had cable TV. We had single beds, and my bed kept moving whenever I sat up. When we mentioned that to the front desk, the gentleman there told us to look for a lock in the wheels at the bottom. We could not do that, and I found that annoying.
