We paid for an upgrade and received a large room with a sea view, good breakfast, and proximity to the beach. However, we originally booked Studio I, which I don’t recommend: it was dark, infested with ants, had a tree, and only a small balcony with a limited sea view. The receptionist was not very friendly and misled us about the room availability, claiming it was the only one left when, in fact, there was just one other group in the entire hotel. Mosquitoes were also plentiful inside.

The staff was quite friendly, and when we needed an earlier breakfast they accommodated us. The swimming pool was very relaxing and the overall condition of the place was acceptable. We were close to San Agustinillo beach and walked to Mazunte a couple of times.

The room was clean with great sea views, and the kitchen staff made a tasty breakfast. The room was cleaned daily. It would help if the reception staff could speak English.
