“Joli mais pourrait mieux faire”
Overall, the estate was decent. The bungalows were almost new, rooms comfortable, with a nice veranda‑kitchen and a lovely terrace with lounge chairs. Special shout‑out to the well‑kept vegetation, especially given 2026’s drought. The surroundings of both pools were very beautiful. The greenery grew better than the site photos, even better than the pictures. Inside the estate, nothing to complain about: it’s truly pretty and welcoming. The downside: children under 2 are not allowed in the small “Cosy” bungalows, even if your baby sleeps in your bed; you must book the “Lovely” category at an extra 15 euros. The kitchen is split in two, with one part in the bathroom (dishware, microwave, coffee machine) and the rest in the outdoor veranda, which is inconvenient because you have to keep passing through the room with the dishware. There’s no sea or Rhône view, and only half the bungalows look at one of the two pools. You need to climb the (nice) rooftop for a view. According to the website, check‑in (and reception) closes at 21:00 from June to September, but on 18 September we were told to arrive before 20:00, not 21:00. We finally arrived at 19:45 and the entrance gate was already closed… Same for the swim lane: reception said it closed at 20:00 (so we didn’t go there in the evening), while the access barrier sign actually read 21:00, as we discovered the next morning! The natural pool was unfortunately closed during our one‑night stay, which wasn’t mentioned on the site (they warn it can close occasionally for regeneration, but don’t specify when), even though it’s heavily highlighted in the photos… We were disappointed. We settled for the swim lane.
