Great spot for rainforest hikes, whether you’re guided or on your own. The place is well kept and Channi goes above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. We stayed four nights and felt right at home. Getting there by public transport is a bit tricky but doable—buses run from Uvita/Quepos/San José to Puerto Jiménez, then you take a taxi or the collectivo, and Channi helps with that too.

The smaller bed needed a thicker mattress—we doubled the one we had and it was okay.

The cabin was clean and comfy, with a tidy bathroom and kitchen, plus good Wi‑Fi. The lounge was super relaxing, full of seats and a couple hammocks. Suzanna and Channy were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Unfortunately, no one was there at the agreed check‑in time.
