The sheets were clean, but when I asked for a lower floor because of back problems they refused, even though the lower floor was available all night. The beds were uncomfortable, the mattress squeaked and the springs pressed into my back. There was no light over the bed, the stairs were awkward, and climbing the spiral staircase to the fifth floor felt heavy. The staff were unfriendly and we had to call for an entry guide because no instructions were given.

The hostel could have left a good impression, but a serious issue ruined it: bedbugs bit my girlfriend in the room. Because of that we had to leave earlier than planned, which was a shame because otherwise we might have stayed longer. I hope the management takes this seriously and takes steps so other guests don’t encounter the same problem.

The place was clean, and there was a late check‑in option that didn’t cost extra. Everything else was fine.
