Cahir House Hotel

The room was huge and spotless, with a big, comfy bed. A fridge and an electric kettle for tea and coffee were provided. The bathroom was large, the shower spacious and clean. It sits right in the city centre with plenty of parking in front. We also tried the hotel’s mini Irish breakfast, which was simply delightful. Nothing to complain about.

We ran into a small problem, but the staff handled it quickly and went above and beyond to fix it, making our stay enjoyable. They were attentive, friendly, and we couldn’t have asked for better service.

The hotel sits right in the heart of town, on the Square, making it convenient to everything. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the beds were very comfortable. There were many breakfast options with huge portions, offering great value for money. However, the double‑glazed, sealed windows mean rooms face either the street or the courtyard, so some residual noise can be heard depending on the night of the week. Light sleepers should bring earbuds just in case, but otherwise it shouldn’t be a problem.
