The view is indescribable, and the housekeeping staff are unbelievably friendly. The garden and surrounding olive groves make for a beautiful retreat spot. The breakfast, however, falls short of my taste except for the tasty coffee and freshly baked mini croissants; there’s no fruit or any fresh items, and everything comes with plastic cutlery, cups, and packaging.

“Esperienza negativa!!”

I booked the place but it was impossible to get there by car because the road was unusable and not mentioned in the listing; we had to cancel the stay. The refund was also denied even though the issue wasn’t our fault. Terrible experience – don’t drive if you’re planning to stay here.

The location, cleanliness, and staff friendliness are great – we’ll definitely come back. The only downside is that the private bathroom is separate from the room.

The location is outstanding, with an amazing view of the bay and Vesuvius. We also liked the spaciousness of the apartment (one adult room and a room with two single beds), the unique décor, the cleanliness, and the comfortable beds. Getting to the accommodation is unusual because of a steep slope that isn’t suitable for large vehicles, so you need to be comfortable driving up; once you manage it, parking under the shaded olive trees is a nice surprise. The breakfast was disappointing, especially on the first day when the portions were very limited and the selection was sparse with no fresh produce. Oddly, the second breakfast, served by a different staff member, had more variety and quantity. Another drawback is the kitchen equipment: it’s not possible to cook because there are only three knives for four people, no spoons for pots, a wrong oven rack that sits at the bottom of the oven, etc. The hotel could definitely improve this aspect.
