The location is superb, right at the start of the old town, and although the on‑site restaurant was closed during our stay, there are plenty of nearby eateries. The room we got was a U.S. queen‑size split into two twin beds, on the top floor, feeling cramped with sloping ceilings that made moving around awkward.

The hotel’s location is great. We couldn’t check in until 15:00 but could leave our bags at reception. The room was tiny and the bathroom even smaller. At 03:00 we woke up because guests in the adjacent room seemed to be entering ours; it wasn’t the noise, but the walls felt almost nonexistent. The soundproofing from the outside, however, is excellent. Our room faced the street with many restaurants, but we heard nothing.
