The hot spring was pleasant. The towel for washing was a bit stiff and caused some discomfort.

A rare retro tatami inn, and the meals were good. The bathroom was shared.

Because it was a weekday stay, the hot spring was free of other guests and felt like it was rented out, so I could relax. Breakfast was generous and tasty, leaving me very satisfied. The sunset over Lake Goshogawara was beautiful, giving me a slow, enjoyable time. I wish each room had a toilet, even though there appear to be some with toilets.
