“Excellent”
We stayed in a genuinely cozy home with beautiful decor and high ceilings, plenty of natural light, and comfy beds. Throughout our visit the hosts kept every amenity in perfect condition, cleaning the bathroom daily without us noticing and always refilling the filtered water. They offer a small‑fee laundry service, which was a lifesaver after our mountain trip. We also opted for breakfast each day (another small fee) and were treated to generous eggs, tea, cheeses, fruit, and pastries in a sun‑lit room full of plants overlooking the yard—luxurious yet homey. The couple was incredibly friendly and kind. This was our favorite and most comfortable spot during our two‑and‑a‑half‑week trip in Azerbaijan. The city center is just a short walk down cobblestone streets, and the old town is a quick taxi, car ride, or about a 20‑minute walk—totally doable. We loved it here! The only downside was the somewhat steep staircase, which might be an issue for those with mobility concerns.
