We had an excellent stay at Nilya Hotel. Nazmi, one of the owners, went out of his way to help us by advising us on when to visit Ephesus (first thing in the morning), where to start to beat the crowds of visitors who come in busloads (start at the Lower Entrance), and even drove us to the site in the morning. His restaurant recommendations were excellent. The hotel has a lovely garden and offers a filling breakfast that includes fresh fruit and eggs. Nasmi’s gallery is well worth a visit: he has beautiful carpets and is eager to share his expertise, as well as tiles by a local artist and jewelry (I bought a lovely pendant).

The owners were so kind and friendly. They helped us get to Ephesus, arranged all our drivers, and gave great dinner recommendations. Breakfast was the best one we had at five different hotels. The room had a little courtyard right outside that was delightful. We wanted to get beer one night and they called the store to deliver it to our room for almost nothing. Easy to get around and about five minutes from the Ephesus museum. The family had a great time here.

Hotel muy bien ubicado y con mucho encanto. La decoración es muy tradicional y auténticamente turca. El dueño fue muy amable y al llegar nos explicó todo con bastante detalle. Incluso nos prestó un libro en español con información sobre la zona, su historia y los principales lugares para visitar, que devolvimos antes de irnos. La cama era cómoda y el baño sencillo, de estilo clásico. El desayuno estuvo muy bien y se servía bajo un parrón, lo que hacía el ambiente especialmente agradable. Una muy buena experiencia para alojarse en Selçuk. Todo bien
