Hotel Vogar, in the peaceful village of Vogar on the Reykjanes Peninsula, offers spectacular views of 379-meter Mt. Keilir, a cone-shaped volcano. Located 14 minutes from Keflavík International Airport, the hotel features double-insulated walls and light-reducing curtains. It's 12 minutes from the Blue Lagoon and 25 minutes from Reykjavík, with nearby coastal paths, lava fields, and abundant bird life, plus a nearby heated outdoor pool.

It’s close to the airport. The customer service was terrible.

The hotel sits in the middle of Vogar next to a small Pub, and the rooms are all good size with parking right in front. The staff are friendly and helpful, but the hotel feels a bit dated.

It’s close to the airport and the beds were okay. Everything looked worn out, the hallway carpet was torn, and the motel is old and worn. The shower water had a strong sulfur smell.

We chose this hotel because of its location near the airport (15 minutes by car). Someone waited for us at reception even though we arrived in the middle of the night, and we could also have breakfast on site.

The beds were comfortable—very basic but exactly what we needed after a long flight. The shower was leaking in several rooms.
