Villa Semoga

I liked everything! The owner was very kind and met all my requests. Since traveling to Lombok means being surrounded by many mosques, we had no problem with that. We slept very well! I discovered that the owner also runs a diving center, and we dived with them after checkout and it was super amazing. A wonderful experience. Only one night was booked!

The villa itself and the pool were quite pleasant, with its 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The neighborhood was very noisy, close to a busy highway day and night, and two mosques, not to mention constantly barking wild dogs. It was impossible to enjoy the outdoors with the smell of burning garbage and carbon monoxide pollution. A scooter was essential. No Grab on site. No kitchen equipment except a kettle. Café Moulu had no filter, just tea leaves, no coffee in the evening, just a roll of paper towels. No wardrobe.

The villa itself was quite good, as was the pool. The location was rather isolated, making it hard to find transport (grabs wouldn’t come this far), and despite the cameras we felt somewhat unsafe due to the forest setting.

The house was new, clean, and had a nice pool.

The place was super private, a perfect spot to unwind. Fernando, the owner, was a fantastic host and even brought breakfast to us every morning. The only downside was the privacy itself—it felt like a tiny personal oasis.
