It was our first trip with our dog and we were nervous, but having a space where the dog could play and getting a free cage were huge pluses, and the staff were kind and courteous. Because our family of five split into two rooms, it would have been perfect to have a connecting room.

We found this place while looking for a dog‑friendly stay; the view was lovely, the room beautiful, and our dog was thrilled exploring the room and the sea‑view terrace. When we asked about dining with dogs, the hotel told us that Aloha Terrace Setouchi allowed pets and that it was open until 21:00 during our stay, which made for a wonderful evening. The bathroom was spacious, and they recommended a hot spring, giving us a free ticket and towels; the onsen was excellent. Thanks for a fun and comfortable visit—we’ll definitely come back.

The parking lot was roomy, the entrance had automatic doors, and there were 31 ice‑cream vending machines—one outside and one inside. A laundry room was available in a separate building, so you have to walk a short way from the entrance. A pleasant soap‑scent drifted from the lobby, adding a welcoming touch. The floors on the guest‑room floor were spotless marble, and the rooms felt very clean and comfortable, with the air‑conditioning working well. The only drawback was that the elevators were a bit smaller than usual, making it a little tricky with luggage, and the doors closed very quickly, so you have to hold them down longer.
