The staff were very welcoming, smiling, and available, but from the outside the hotel looked luxurious, only to have that impression quickly fade upon entering the hallway to room 222. A strong musty odor of mold was immediately noticeable, which was particularly unpleasant. The room itself was spacious yet lacked furniture and decorative items, giving it a vacant and unwelcoming feel. The bed was especially uncomfortable, with a mattress that did not allow for a restful night, negatively impacting our stay.
