“Tiny rooms, wouldn’t stay again”

Good location, but the rooms are extremely tiny.

“Fantastic hotel, great location and great onsen”

The location was fantastic, the onsen was amazing, and the rooftop balcony was a huge plus; the room was comfortable. I didn’t like that the window faced a wall and that there was no cupboard in the room.

“Well presented hotel, giving free drink at the bar for each night of stay.”

The spot is great and the staff are friendly, but the wifi on the firestick was awful.

Conveniently located to enjoy Kyoto's vibrant nightlife. The hotel has an amazing rooftop bar with a fabulous view over the city. Staff was extremely cordial, with great English and very helpful. Booked the room knowing it wasn't a big one, and we traveled with small two small carry-on suitcases, rather than big suitcases, to make up for it. Yet, the room felt smaller than we expected, to the point where sometimes it was even hard for two people to move around and get in at the same time. Not a big deal in the end, once you get used to it. If you are traveling with bigger suitcases, however, definitely choose a bigger room among those offered by this otherwise good hotel

“A nice hotel in a perfect location in Kyoto.”

We thought the location was perfect. The robes in the room were lovely, the rooftop terrace was a nice treat, and the staff were impeccable. The bathroom and amenities were nice. The room was small and not efficient for two people; one person had to “roll” off the bed to get out if the other was still in it, and there wasn’t enough room to move around or reach the suitcases. The handheld shower head was awkward.
