I booked this hostel because of the 24‑hour check‑in desk, and Soren checked me in at 1 am, being incredibly friendly and helpful. Other staff gave me excellent recommendations, especially for my trip to Cascais, which I highly recommend. The hostel offers a free continental breakfast, coffee and tea all day, a fridge, microwave, and air fryer but no stove. There’s a designated smoking area so you don’t need to leave the hostel to smoke. Dorms are on the 5th floor, each floor has its own Wi‑Fi, and there’s a small elevator. The area feels very safe, a short walk to Pingo Dolce (a large supermarket) and public transport is nearby, and there’s a great Italian restaurant right next door.

“Good location.”

The location is great, the neighbourhood feels very safe and it’s close to the shopping street; walking into the main square takes about 20‑25 minutes. The staff were lovely, but the room was only average – the floor had a few poorly maintained planks sticking out, which is fine if you’re looking for something basic.
