Nottingham Place Hotel

“Het was prima.”

The location was great, in a nice neighborhood, and the room was pleasantly bright. However, it wasn’t really clean upon arrival. The shower/bath entry and exit were bizarre and almost impossible. It’s well arranged, but it was a bit odd.

“I would not recommend staying in the hotel.”

The photos in the listing don’t match the reality of the room(s). The room was well below any acceptable standard: dirty, many stains on walls, rusting/molding ceiling, layout of room

“Great location, but musty smell and water leak in the basement room”

The place is in a great spot. The basement room had a persistent musty smell, and the floor was very dirty, with corners that clearly had not been cleaned for a long time. There was also a water leak from the ceiling, with water dripping onto the floor and making noise that woke me up in the morning. Despite reporting the issue, the staff simply brushed off my concerns with a dismissive smile. Nothing was done, and the leak continued over the following days. The lack of cleanliness and the complete lack of action from the staff made this a very disappointing stay.

The staff were very polite and helpful, swapping towels daily and giving us complimentary water, and the location was fantastic. However, the room isn’t suitable for a couple; the bathroom offered zero privacy, the door had a gap that let you hear everything, and the single window could only be opened about 5 centimeters by climbing onto the table, making the space feel claustrophobic and the mattress extremely uncomfortable, which is a shock given the positive reviews I had trusted.

“Piccolo albergo, ben curato a Marylebon”

The location is ideal for Marylebone, Regent’s, Baker Street, etc., and the small hotel has a few rooms, is clean and tidy.
