Escale Rando Taliouine

The brothers running this place are outstandingly hospitable. Especially Said went out of his way to take us early in the morning to harvest saffron—just wonderful. The dinner was tasty, and breakfast was also very good. We had an unforgettable stay. The rooms are simple but clean. Everything was fine.

“Wonderfull place”

The rooms are spacious, clean, well equipped with air‑con, Wi‑Fi, and even a coffee/tea maker in the room, which is a rarity in Morocco. Staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. Best place in town!

The place is magnificent, so relaxing, a true garden of Eden. The breakfast is delicious with homemade jams. The welcome is perfect.

The hospitality was outstanding – Saïd welcomed us warmly, once brought an open pomegranate, and later offered fresh dates from his own garden. The dinner was more than we could have imagined for two days and delicious, and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The shower was wonderfully hot. Nothing to complain about.

We arrived by bus and it was very kind of Omar to pick us up in the centre of Talouine and take us to our accommodation. Much to my surprise, the building was next to an old kasbah with rooms surrounding a central courtyard filled with plants and animals. It was all very traditional and Moroccan! The home-cooked food at Escale Rando Talouine was superb - consisting of a delicious 3-course meal on the evening followed by an ample breakfast the next day. The owner, Said, was very friendly and helpful. The place was excellent value for money, so we can't really quibble about minor details! However, the extra single bed in the room was an obstacle and took up too much space. The room would be better without it
