Days Inn by Wyndham Ottawa Airport

The rooms were spotless and everyone on the staff was super friendly, but the pool and gym were both closed.

“Won’t stay here again”

The hotel is close to the airport. Loud neighbors on the floor, disappointing breakfast, and the front desk man was very unfriendly.

The breakfast, room cleanliness, and Wi‑Fi were good, but the corridor outside the building was filthy, the hotel wouldn’t let me extend my stay, and the receptionist on Saturday morning was just plain stupid.

“Meh”

I was close enough to the airport to walk there easily, the bed was comfortable, and the room was roomy and well furnished, yet neither of the two desk clerks I asked knew how to use the Ethernet port in my room and were unhelpful; the stairwell was dirty with trash on the floor, the pool and gym were closed with no sign of reopening, and the price made me think those amenities were included, so if it’s going to be a bare‑bones airport hotel it should be priced accordingly.

“The front staff was very helpful.”

The location was perfect for visiting family, the front‑desk staff were very helpful, our suite was nice, and letting us in early was great, but the breakfast counter had almost nothing, the fruit was gone, muffins were missing, only bagels, yogurt, and a cereal dispenser were offered, the tables weren’t wiped between customers, the coffee was the only drink available at 5:30 am, some areas were dirty, rugs by the elevators weren’t vacuumed, the floors were dirty, and the stairwell was filthy.
