The location was fantastic, within walking distance of Ueno Station yet on a quiet street. The room was small but had all the essentials, and the staff were excellent. The bed felt a bit firm; not sure if that’s typical in Japan.

Camera leggermente piu grande della media ma bisogna prestare attenzione se si hanno 4 valige. Bagno veramente minuscolo, avrei fatto a meno del lavandino e della cucina per fare un bagno in cui ci si possa muovere dopo la doccia. La posizione è ottima, la zona è super tranquilla e a 2 passi dal una fermata della metro da cui raggiungere qualsiasi parte di tokyo (con qualche cambio) e da un 7-11. Personale disponibile e gentile. Apprezzatissima la macchina del caffè, mi ha salvato la colazione letteralmente ogni mattina (il caffè era pure discreto, 7+ super pieno)

The room and bathroom size were good. The pillows weren’t very comfortable; the front desk had more, but most extras cost extra (we had to pay for two extra bath towels for our daughters) and we didn’t ask.

The hotel was on a quiet side street, only a few minutes from Yushima Station for the subway and about 10 minutes from JR Okachimachi Station and Ueno Park. The laundromat was useful, but you should buy detergent at a convenience store because the reception charges it ridiculously high.
