The Biohotel Eggensberger, a 4-star family-run hotel in the Allgäu Alps, offers spa facilities, health treatments, and organic food. Double rooms feature south-facing balconies with Alpine views. Located near Füssen, it provides access to sporting activities and royal palaces. Organic breakfast buffet and 3/4 board options are available. The hotel features a 10-metre pool, saunas, and a sunbathing lawn, with 100% organic certified food and drinks.

Very friendly staff, whether the owner or service employees. The hotel is very idyllic and located in a quiet spot. The buffet area is a bit small, and the line at the coffee machine blocks half of the buffet.

The location looks nice. The small bathroom was cramped, and the buffet offered too little variety, especially for gluten‑free options.

We got a prairie‑side room with a delivery view (quiet at night, just close the window to keep out the delivery trucks) that included spa and pool access plus half‑board. The hotel offers free parking, the food is delicious, the breakfast buffet is varied and homemade, and dinner is sumptuous and refined – definitely worth recommending. Drinks are reasonably priced and the waitresses were very friendly. There’s no air‑conditioning (it’s an eco‑hotel that tries to protect the environment), but that isn’t a problem if you leave the window open; the night air stays cool in the mountains. On the second dinner night the service was a bit less attentive than the first and we waited a little longer, and wasps made it impossible to enjoy the large terrace for breakfast or dinner – a real pity. Otherwise it remains a hotel we love.
