Zhimbad B&B by the sea

“Gute Leistung für sehr guten Preis”

The location near Hotel Forana, which offers a wonderful breakfast included in the price and direct beach access, was a plus. The room door wasn’t fully sealed, and sometimes guests smoked on the corridor, disturbing me at night, and some guests smoked hashish on the balconies.

“We preferred to leave early and lose our money rather than stay another night.”

I wasn’t expecting luxury, just a room in decent condition, but the room had a strong mold smell and clearly needed renovation. We booked two nights but barely survived the first, so we moved to another hotel for the second night, losing the money we’d already paid. In the end, that was definitely the best decision.

Despite negative reviews, I think the place is okay for 1–2 nights for the price. The description says there’s no air‑conditioning, so it’s no surprise that it was hot at night in July or August. Our room was clean and well‑maintained. The reception staff were friendly and breakfast was delicious. The building is quite old, the room equipment is also dated, but I was prepared for that and the price was fair.
