“Poor cleanliness and hygiene, with pest issues, stained towels and a room in urgent need of maintenance.”

The breakfast was decent and the staff were kind, but the cleanliness and hygiene were very poor. A huge cockroach was in the room upon arrival, more appeared during our stay, along with geckos. Towels were stained so badly we didn’t feel comfortable using them, the fridge was dirty and smelled bad, and there was no mosquito net in the room even though one was shown in the photos. The property urgently needs maintenance, a thorough deep clean, and proper pest control.

“Gastvrij verblijf op een goede locatie”

The family was kind and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was close to the bus stop; the temples were easily reached by tuk‑tuk, making the stay pleasant. The mosquito net was broken, but the air‑conditioning and ceiling fan kept the bugs at bay, and turning off the outside light when it got dark helped reduce insects.

“很有意思的一次住宿”

The room was fully equipped, even a bit beyond expectations, more like a studio with a little corner for a fridge and a tea station that was a neat design feature. It was spacious, the bathroom was large, and there was a subtle fragrance in the shower that was rare and worth noting; hot water was available for showers. The homestay is run by an elderly couple and their daughter‑in‑law, who also owns a taxi company that can pick you up in town or between cities, which is convenient and reasonably priced. The location is good: Food City is across the street on the right side of the lane, a commercial bank is on the left, and the bus station is a few minutes away. The fan and air‑con made a noticeable noise.

“Perfect”

Everything was perfect: warm hospitality, a clean and comfortable room, a quiet area, and a tremendous breakfast—couldn’t ask for more.
