The hotel was very comfortable, very clean, and stunning! The breakfast was excellent too!! The staff were friendly and very helpful!! The only downside was that it wasn’t clear how to turn up the room heating, but I should have asked.

The genuinely friendly reception impressed me right from the start. The outstanding service, superb beds, and the staff’s willingness to help reinforced that impression throughout my stay. I was able to borrow a missing British power adapter from the front desk with no hassle. The breakfast was a real highlight: freshly prepared, excellent, and with a Scottish twist that the chef was rightly proud of. For me, the voco in Glasgow was the best hotel on my trip so far, especially considering the price‑to‑value ratio. I felt completely at ease and would return anytime.

The location and amenities were good and the value was solid, but there was no parking or valet service.

The location was great, the old grand hotel was beautiful, the room was a good size and well furnished, and the concierge was extremely helpful. The heating in the room didn’t work and the hotel was slow to send someone to fix it (although they did eventually sort it out). There were no instructions in the room about how the heating worked, and I found some black mould on the tiles in the shower.

I stayed at a gorgeous hotel in a fantastic spot, enjoyed a lovely breakfast, and the staff were very friendly and helpful—highly recommend! We loved everything.
