The spot and the beauty of the place were great, but the gear didn’t match the cost: only one working outlet, the fan was too loud, and the bathroom VMC was just as noisy.

This haveli right in the middle of the blue city was spot‑on; the hosts welcomed us warmly, the staff went out of their way with local tips and made sure we were comfortable, and the rooftop restaurant gave us a lovely view of the city from the fort.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location is great, and you can walk easily up to the fort. From the roof you get a nice view of the fort. The shower is hot and there’s air‑conditioning. The room has a lot of character, and the lobby interior also looks great. It can be a little noisy from the street, but since you’re in the middle of the old town that’s expected. I turned on the fan and couldn’t hear it anyway.
