Breakfast was good and extensive. The self‑check‑in process was cumbersome.

The location in the heart of the village was great. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We could leave our bags before and after check‑in. The restaurant downstairs at the hotel is very good, serving high‑quality local cuisine. Self‑check‑in and check‑out was a breeze.

The hosts were extremely friendly and happily fulfilled extra requests; the old Appenzeller house was beautifully renovated and the food was excellent. The only downside was its very central location on the village street right next to the church.
