The staff were friendly and turned on the coffee machine for us because we were completely drenched. The bike storage was perfect and the breakfast was varied.

“Absolut empfehlenswert”

The newly refurbished hotel turned out to be a gem: the rooms were quiet, clean, and spaciously laid out, and the bathroom was flawless. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. Overall, great! However, there were a few minor complaints: a second pillow was missing and the fire safety rules were not clearly displayed. Both issues are easy to fix.

“Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen und komme gerne wieder.”

The hotel looks very appealing after its renovation, and the rooms were nicely furnished, including the bathroom. From the breakfast room on the first floor, you could enjoy a good view. It sits right on the river, but is surrounded by office buildings and a fire station, and also directly on the street; thanks to the new windows it was very quiet, even with a traveling group in the building. The only downside was the self‑check‑in, but the owner was immediately reachable by phone and very friendly. Breakfast was very good and beautifully presented. I would definitely return. The only thing I’d have liked was a towel bar in the bathroom, since it is recessed and everything dries faster.

“Ideal für die Durchreise mit leckerem Frühstück und guter Lage.”

Checking in late in the evening was very easy thanks to the front‑door kiosk, and it was nice to chat with the hotel staff the next morning and receive a fresh, large portion of scrambled eggs. Great service. The rooms were very clean, the mattresses firm and comfortable. The hotel’s location is ideal with a view of Lahnsteinschloss Biedenkopf; although it sits on the main road, there is almost no traffic at night. From the outside the hotel is rather plain and not very appealing.
